VW Tuning Show Karlovac 2012
One more Volkswagen Tuning Fest in Karlovac, one more hot summer and one more great report from this event!
This time, whole Eurodubs crew came to Karlovc, so we made photo and video report.
For those who don’t know, Volkswagen Tuning Show is organized 10th time by Volkswagen Club Croatia in Karlovac, Croatia. This one of the biggest, if not the biggest event in the region.
Since we arrived to Karlovac early in the morning, we got the chance to make photos of some contestants washing their cars in a car wash nearby. We tried to do the same, but since we did not have enough kunas ( local currency ), we had to drive through the city with detergent on the car in search for the exchange office! It was the beginning of and interesting day that started with laugh despite the fact that we were all tired of driving whole night.
When we finally arrived, we took our equipment and started working what we do best. Parking was more and more crowded, so we had a lot of cars to take photo and video.
Seat Club Croatia and Škoda Club Croatia supported with their presence this Tuning Show, like every previous year. In central area, in front of the stage, there were cars from Slovenia and Czech republic. With our car, from Serbia, this Show may be considered as an International event. Since this event is growing from year to year, it may be expected that at one point, it will be very hard to find parking place for visiting this Tuning Show.
The most interesting part of this show were Show & Shine, DB Cup and clever drive competition. The best car on this event was Audi S4B8, owner Daniel Klich from Czech Republic. Second place was Golf 6, owner Abu Bekrin Galic.
In DB competition, the loudest was Stipan Cvitkovic with 156.5, second place was Cico ( Team Gemišt ) with result 152.6, and third Mario (DB Team Zagreb) with result 151.1.
In clever drive, the best was Vedran Delimar, and Ana Cvitan won in female category, while she was the only female participant.
Eurodubs crew had a great time, we enjoyed in great cars, had a great time with organizers to whom we thank for cold bear! 🙂
